Mamaearth Ubtan Facewash for tan removal review

Hello everyone, so a month back I got my hands on the Mamaearth ubtan facewash for tan removal because i wanted to try it for quite a long time. So here I am with a review on this product.

About the Brand

Mamaearth is the 1st ever Indian brand which is MadeSafe certified. All the products are cruelty free which means the product and its ingredients weren’t tested on animals. Mamaearth products are not just free from parabeans but also from Phthalates, PEG, DEA, Fragrances, Dyes, Formaldehyde and other ingredients which isn't suitable for babies. Mamaearth ubtan facewash contains Aqua, Stearic Acid, Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate, Glycerin, Palmitic Acid, Coconut Oil, Walnut beads, Saffron extract, Niacinamide, Carrot seed oil, Turmeric powder, Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E), Liquorice Extract, Orange oil, Ylang Ylang Oil, Patchouli Oil.

Texture

My Experience

I have been using this product from past one month and I can tell that after using this facewash my skin feels softer and brighter. It helps cleanse my skin throughly but the facewash does not lather or foam up unlike other facewashes as it is free from parabeans and sulfates. This is the thing I love the most about this product. The texture of the product is creamy and has walnut beads in it but the concentration of the walnut beads is very less so this face wash cannot really replace an exfoliator/scrub. Although it is really a bummer that a facewash has scrubbing particles in it. Personally I do not preffer the srubbing particles in the facewash, coming from the acne prone skin family the particles might trigger my active acne and worsen my skin. And I can't use this product on a daily basis as scrubing daily is not good for the skin. It might be suitable for normal and dry skin type . Also I can't really tell that this product has helped in tan removal as the difference is not visible. I would give this product a 3/5 as there are some really good facewashes out there i would prefer more over this one.
