Every person may it be a girl or a boy wishes to have a perfect skin but we often face problems or certain skin issues from time to time. Great and flawless looking skin cannot be achieved in a day or two. It is a slow and steady process and for this you have to be patient enough. To know what's suiting your skin, you should atleast try the suggested products for a month or two and wait for the results to show up on your skin. 

1. Stay hydrated- Almost every other person with flawless skin will suggest you to drink plenty of water. In order to keep yourself and your skin hydrated it is advisable to drink atleast 2-3 litres of water a day. Water helps to flush out the toxins from the body and helps to keep you hydrated. It helps to keep your skin supple and eliminate fine lines. So from now onwards make it a habit to carry a water bottle wherever you go so you don't have to worry about dehydration.

2. Enough sleep - Beauty sleep is real. In order to achieve flawless skin , you should atleast sleep for 6-7 hours a day. Lack of sleep and improper sleeping schedules can cause dark circles or racoon eyes and hyperpigmentation which no one wants. While you sleep, your skin turns on the recovery mode which helps in repair and rejuvenation of the skin, it helps eliminates fine lines and repair skin cells by the production of collagen at sleep mode.

3. Eat a healthy diet - It is often said that whatever you eat shows up on your skin Eat a proper balanced meal everyday to achieve natural glow. Your diet should contain everything in proper quantities. Incorporate vitamins and minerals to your diet and try to limit the salt and sugar intake. If you can eliminate sugars from your diet as sugary foods increase cortisol, where sugars bind to collagen and weaken it which can cause ageing, sagging and wrinkles. Eat fruits rich in vitamin C , leafy vegetables, protien tich food and healthy fats for a beautiful skin inside out. 
4. Wear SPF daily- You should wear a sunscreen daily as it is important to protect our skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays of the sun which causes pigmentation, fine lines and premature ageing. Overexposure to sunlight can immensely damage your skin and nobody wants that. Apply SPF daily on the exposed parts of your body and don't forget to top it up every 2 hours. 

5. Follow a skincare regime - I know you all have heard this before, but we really can't stress this enough. You should follow a definate skincare regime as it is necessary. Your skincare regimen should include a cleanser, moisturizer, a scrub and a mask. Cleanse your face using a mild facewash, exfoliate it atleast 3 times a week to remove dead cells build up. You can either use a physical or a chemical exfoliant to do so. Then moisturize it well with a nourishing moisturizer. people with oily skin types can use a gel based moisturizer but it is mandatory to moisturize.

So these were the 5 habits you need to inculcate to achieve great skin. You need to stay constant with every thing you do as it takes months and years to achieve glowing and flawless skin. Follow these regularly and you may see visible changes in your skin in a month or two.
